General Questions -- Introduction |

Although I intend to answer questions from three separate groups--counselor, counselees, and critics--some questions are so general that they need to be handled separately. These are matters of concern to anyone who might be investigating the claims, the principles, and the practices of biblical (Nouthetic) counseling.
Perhaps the best place to begin is with the word Nouthetic which I used in the last sentence. What does it mean? Why is it used? Those are the general questions with which I wish to begin discussion.
