Just a word first . . .

We are glad to hear from students, pastors, counselors, friends, and even those who might have an ax to grind. Please understand, however, that time limitations and experience have dictated that we establish the following policies:

1. We do not respond to anonymous email. That includes any communication that has only a name attached to it without any further explanation of who you are, where you live, or the context from which you write.
2. We simply cannot get involved in counseling stiuations via the internet. Please do not write explaining your situation and ask us to counsel with you by email. Instead, ask if we know of a good counselor in your area to whom we can refer you.
3. If you are a student who has been assigned to write a paper about nouthetic counseling we are excited about the opportunity you have before you. We would love to see a copy of your paper after you have submitted it. Please, however, do not write to us asking questions in an attempt to have us to do your research for you. This website is full of helpful information including a complete annotated bibliography of Dr. Adams' books.
4. Dr. Adams has not made his direct contact information available as he is not able to respond to the volume of email he would receive. If you have a question or comment for Dr. Adams you may send it to our Executive Director, Donn Arms, who also functions as a kind of "gatekeeper" for Dr. Adams. Donn will forward appropriate communications on to Dr. Adams.
